Does luck play an important role in success?

People say that hard-work is the true key to success. No doubt about that, but don't you think luck is, though not essential, sometimes worth having? Of course, hard-work is going to get you more, but even respect luck, whether you feel it favors you or not. Here are a few prominent situations where luck might have struck, but hard-work has sustained its effects.

Things happening at the right moment: I am sure we all are familiar with the great scientist Sir Isaac Newton and his groundbreaking discoveries. He could be claimed to be partially lucky to have been under the tree just when the apple fell , or it would've probably taken him longer to discover gravity. Although he was lucky to have witnessed it, it was all his curiosity and enthusiasm that drove him into researching about it.

Great guidance: Well, what if your father was a high-ranked professor at MIT? He could teach you just about everything at home, and you'd become a genius like him, but yet again,  it's your interest that will either urge you to use that guidance or just let go off such a great opportunity. Without practice, it all would be useless, wouldn't it?

Good looks: Film stars and actors are blessed to have such admirable, beautiful, and handsome looks, but don't think they're as lucky either. They have to maintain strict dietary limits for such appearance. Junk food is like a really strong magnet, don't you think so?

Inheriting business or property: Mukesh Ambani is the richest person in India, but he simply got a well set up business initiated by his father Dhirubhai Ambani. He sure did, but thereon, it was all his hard-work that went into managing the company and taking it to larger horizons. Had he simply been enjoying a lavish life, he would be fired and soon become an ordinary jobless person with no money.

Celebrities and their memorabilia: Now what about celebrities, who can even sell their daily trash for thousands of  dollars? This way, they can sell their useless stuff and make huge money by selling it. Easy money, you would say. But behind these crazy pays are the unimaginable efforts not many would have noticed too.
Now, I hope you all got what I wanted to convey to you.

THANK YOU
